im asking cause you guys know how every brand says they do this and that but some dont actually work...and if it helps, I dont drink coffee, smoke, i get my daily calcium, dont drink alot of soda, and i brush my teeth once or twice a day...
What dental products and/or brands whiten teeth more quickly and/or effectively?
It all depends if your stains are intrisic or extrinsic.
Intrinsic staining occurs after long period of time and are deeply imbedded in your teeth, and usually only professional treatment can remove these stains.
Extrinsic stains are surface stains and are easily removed with whitening toothpastes like Crest Vivid White/Vivid White Night and Rembrant, or Listenerine with Whitenol or Whitening Listerine. But give the products time, nothing works over night. Results should be seen in about a two weeks or less, and dramatic results in about a mouth. That is, if the stains are extrinsic.
If this doesn't work, talk to your dentist about professional treatments or prescription gels with custom whitening trays.

Reply:our office has three types--Zoom (like used on Extreme Makeover) bleaching trays used for two weeks @ home and Crest Whitining Strips ( the prescription strength you can only get @ your dentists office. which do i think is best?? the Crest Strips--less tooth senstivity, just 30 min. a day and the most cost efficient.
