I have a ball closure ring on my lip and I am thinking of using crest whitestrips but I wanted to know if there is something in the strips that could hurt the piercing or is it okay to use them
Are teeth whitening products bad for oral piercings?
The ingredients could definitely irritate or even "burn" if it gets inside the lip (because your saliva likely would not wash it away. If it was me, I would not do it unless I was sure I could adequately rinse all the way through the pierced area and I would gently rinse it through following each application. Sounds a little risky to me.
