I had the Zoom Whiting done;but I was in the worst pain ever!

Does anyone know any good whiting products too use on sensitive teeth?
Once a week brush like normal them brush with baking soda them swish with peroxide then floss it works great! My mom has done it sice she was 13 and she has brilliant white teeth and has never had a cavity
Reply:The Crest white strips worked well for me. The only thing to remember is that you have to maintain the whitening afterwards. It was painless other than a funny taste for half an hour.

Reply:All whitening products can cause more sensitivity if your teeth are sensitive in the first place as your teeth dehydrate during the whitening process. If you want to have your teeth whitened and you have sensitive teeth then you should use a product called tooth mousse for a week before you bleach as it helps reduce sensitivity. Do not use it the day before or the day of the whitening process. It is a good product to use after whitening also as it not only reduces sensitivity but it reduces the acid in your saliva (which causes a lot of sensitivity) and floods the teeth with calcium and phosphates. I have done my own sensitivity and acid reduction research on this product with various patients and the results have been really good.
Reply:I have extrememly sensitive teeth. My dentist told me to avoid all whitening products!!!! I was given a prescription toothpaste by him that you use once a day- it is called Flouridex. In the past week of using it, I have seen an improvement already. I really would not recommend having the whitening done!! It is not good for the enamel!!

Reply:any whitening you do on your teeth is going to make them sensitive - especially to the cold. sorry.
