My teeth chip easily, is it safe to use over the counter whitening products?

You should go to a dentist to see if you have a genetic disorder that reduces enamel hardness. You might want to use more fluoride in addition to your fluoridated toothpaste to help strengthen and protect your teeth. ACT is pretty good. If you just want to stick with fluoridated toothpaste, Crest ProHealth is good. Your dentist may prescribe something stronger too.

As far as the whitening, you can use whitening products but just don't leave them on too long or you might develop highly sensitive teeth. Also, if you overuse whitening products, your teeth can turn blue, much like over bleaching white laundry.
