Have you tried home tooth whitening products?

I wanted to know if anyone has tried them . Did they actually work? Also, did you have any sensitivity problems? Can you tell me which brand was the best and why, also how much that brand was. Please tell if it was worth it and anything else you can think of.

According to dental journals, the best over the counter whitening is Crest Whitestrips. If you experience sensitivity, use them less often or rinse right after using them with fluoride.
Reply:I have. I used a night treatment (which you wear as you sleep at night) over 2 weeks. I got married October, 2002, and wanted white teeth for my wedding, and that is exactly what I got. I did buy my home solution through my local dentist. You require to have impressions done which are sent off to a dental technician who creates mouth trays to the shape of your teeth. The cost for these treatments can vary, the cost of the whitening solution is separate from the cost of mouth trays. Costs should be discussed with a dentist (if the decision is made to go through a dentist). Directions for use of a home whitening treatment come with the product. If you wish not to outlay a great deal of money, you can always try whitening toothpastes. I use Colgate Triple Action. If used 3 times a day over a number of weeks, and keep away from things such as coffee, red wine and smoking, it can be found to be beneficial. Was for me.
