Can anybody recommend a teeth whitening product?

Do any of them actually work? I've been using whitening toothpaste for 3 years and its done sod all.

crest white strips work well for our patients--some of the suggestions are way to abrasive (salt, baking soda) you don't want to damage your enamel that IS the white part of the tooth

Reply:I personally prefered Crest's Vivid White Night toothpaste and the Whitening moutwash... I thought they did quite well....





I've tried the products that you used to paint on your teeth and then the strips, and the strips have an awful taste to me, so I personally think that if you're consistant with the toothpaste and mouthwash, it does the trick to give you a whiter smile, and it doesn't have such a bad taste. Hope this helped.
Reply:Don't get the strips at all, or anything over the counter. Have the trays made by your dentist and buy the bleaching solution from him. It comes free with the tray, then you can buy refills if you want more. They come out more even than the strips. Trust me, I see it happen all the time! By the way, you can't bleach caps or crowns...they stay the same.
